Product Introduction
This kit is used for the detection of hotspot mutations in KRAS/BRAF/NRAS genes in cancer tissues of colorectal cancer patients, and can qualitatively detect hotspot mutation sites in exons of KRAS/BRAF/NRAS genes.
Intended Use
This kit is used to detect hotspot mutations in exons 2, 3 and 4 of the human KRAS gene, hotspot mutations in exons 2, 3 and 4 of the human NRAS gene and hotspot mutations in exon 15 of the human BRAF gene. The kits use DNA as the test sample to provide qualitative assessment of mutation status, which provides a basis for clinicians to select tumor-targeted drug therapy for colorectal cancer patients.

National Comprehensive Cancer Network(NCCN) Clinical Practice Guidelines for Colorectal Cancer clearly states that: all patients with metastatic colorectal cancer should be tested for KRAS gene status; and only patients with wild-type KRAS are recommended to be treated with EGFR inhibitors (such as Epiduron and Panitumumumab).
